Borch Leeman Internships provide businesses with international students through their Internship Programs. The Internship Programs can be from 6 weeks up to 6 months work experience nonpaid or paid. These programs have been developed to “make a difference” in the work place providing benefits to both businesses and the graduates/students.
Our employers After identifying initial interest, Borch Leeman staff visits potential employers to learn about their business and to meet their employment needs. To proceed, a brief company profile and job descriptions(s) will be required.
Our candidates/Interns International students: These students come to Australia on a special arranged Visa for a specific period, as part of their University Degrees. These students are seeking to build their life skills and to gain valuable work experience in an Australian Business, culminating in credits towards their degrees.
Screening Once Borch Leeman receives the application, an initial screening process takes place in order to ensure that the applicant is suitable for our internship programs. This step helps with identifying the applicant’s objectives and expectations, as well as a snapshot of their background, qualifications and experiences.
Interviews Once the application is approved, Borch Leeman interviews the candidate to determine his/her competency in the English language, drive and dedication as well as good work ethic, in order to meet the standards of our employers. Previous internships, academic results, leadership, diversity, and communication skills are taken into consideration by our dedicated staff at Borch to provide the employer with a comprehensive candidate profile.
Placement Our candidates come from a diverse range of majors, such as Business Administration, Human Resources, Engineering, IT Management, Accounting & Finance, Law, Architecture, Marketing, International Business, Science, Teaching and many more.
Borch Leeman staff matches the candidate’s profile with our database of available positions. Once Borch Leeman selects suitable positions for the candidate, his/her resume and profile are sent to the Host Company for their consideration. Borch Leeman organises interviews for the host companies with suitable candidates. Upon a successful interview, Borch Leeman notifies the candidate, prepares an agreement to be signed by the Host Company and the Intern.
